In addition to our range of service delivery products we provide accredited training and education for those who wish to enter the exciting and challenging field of sight loss rehabilitation.
September 2006 saw the launch of the BTEC Professional Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment). This popular level 4 course is accredited by Edexcel and provides a recognised qualification that is not only practical but aspirational - you are not tied to this field of study should you wish to explore another subject in the future.
In 2009 we added an additional course to enhance and compliment the above qualification. Our 'second year' diploma (studied at level 5) enables students to study Orientation & Mobility within the field of sight loss rehabilitation.
For those already qualified, individual units from our courses are available and further professional development programmes will be added to create a suite of programmes designed to equip todays specialist with expert knowledge and skills that can be applied in the workplace.
Unlike many other courses on offer, while supporting the need for academic rigour within the rehabilitation profession, Provision Solutions recognises the importance of the practical elements of service delivery. Successful students will not only possess the theoretical knowledge of the subjects they study, they will be able to apply their learning on a practical level.
