Provision Solutions provides academically accredited training and education for those who wish to enter the exciting and challenging field of sight loss rehabilitation.
In September 2006 we launched the BTEC Professional Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment). This popular level 4 course is accredited by Edexcel and provides a recognised qualification that is not only practical but aspirational - you are not tied to this field of study should you wish to explore another subject in the future.
In 2009 we added an additional course to enhance and compliment the above qualification. Our 'second year' diploma (studied at level 5) enables students to use knowledge gained previously and further their studies in Orientation & Mobility within the field of sight loss rehabilitation.
The courses welcome students 'new' to the field but also offers Qualified professionals an opportunity to refresh their skills by taking individual units specific to their need. Existing professionals may want to consider our suite of professional development programmes that are designed to equip today's specialist with expert knowledge and skills that can be applied in the workplace.
Unlike many other courses on offer, while encouraging the need for academic rigour within the rehabilitation profession, Provision Solutions recognises the importance of the practical elements of service delivery. Successful students will not only possess the theoretical knowledge of the subjects they study, they will be able to apply their learning on a practical level.
